Year One is an important year where ‘learning through play’ develops to more independent and focussed learning expected of older children as part of the Key Stage One curriculum. We support the children well at this point in their education so that they can access the learning whilst maintaining a focus on a child’s personal development. This supports our ethos of ‘Caring, Sharing, Aiming High’.
