Design Technology Vision Statement
Maytree Nursery and Infant school is committed to meeting the requirements of the Design and Technology national curriculum. Design and Technology is an inspiring, rigorous and practical subject. This is reflected through our systematic teaching, which ensures children develop the creative, technical and practical expertise needed to perform everyday tasks in a skilled and confident way. Using creativity and imagination, pupils successfully design, make and critique products that solve real and relevant problems within an increasingly technological world, considering their own and others’ needs, wants and values.
